Jaffrey-Rindge Veterinary Hospital is fully equipped to perform many surgical procedures. Spays, neuters, wound management, and tumor removals are just a few. Your pet will receive a physical examination prior to the surgery. A pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended to evaluate their internal health.

The anesthesia protocol is individualized for your pet. Their breed, age, health, and the surgery to be performed all influence the decision. We have a state-of-the-art sevoflurane gas anesthesia machine. The patient’s ECG, heart rate, blood pressure, carbon dioxide, and oxygen saturation are monitored during the surgery.

Pain management is also tailored for the best combination based on your pet’s age, breed, health status, bloodwork results, and the surgery performed.

We also have separate rooms for dogs and cats to help ease their recovery.
